Terms of use

Effective 2 October 2026

About these terms

These terms apply when you use VenixPin by SMS, through a VenixPin link, or through a VenixPin business account. VenixPin is provided by Venix Partners Limited (RC 1907456). By using the service you agree to these terms.

The service

VenixPin lets you save, check and share postcodes from the National Digital Alphanumeric Postcode System operated by NIPOST. VenixPin does not create postcodes or addresses. Postcode information comes from NIPOST, and we cannot guarantee that it is complete, current or free of errors.

Charges

Any charge for using VenixPin will be shown before you use it. Your mobile network may also charge for sending messages to our shortcode. Business accounts are billed under the plan you choose.

Using VenixPin fairly

You agree that you will:

We may limit how often a number can use VenixPin, and we may suspend numbers or accounts that break these terms. People who receive shares can block them at any time by texting STOP.

Emergencies

VenixPin helps you tell people where you are, but it is not an emergency service and messages can be delayed. In an emergency, call 112 or your local emergency number.

Business accounts

Businesses must only request postcodes from their own customers for a legitimate purpose, such as delivery or verifying an address, and must handle the postcodes and locations they receive in line with Nigerian data protection law. Separate business terms may apply.

Availability and liability

We work to keep VenixPin available, but it depends on mobile networks, NIPOST and other providers, and may be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, Venix Partners Limited is not liable for losses caused by interruptions, delayed messages, or errors in postcode data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

Your data

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy.

Changes and law

We may update these terms, and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction.
