Business frequently asked questions
Clear answers about the current VenixPin platform and what is still in development.
What is VenixPin?
VenixPin is a merchant delivery management platform that uses Nigeria's official digital postcode infrastructure to support location-related delivery operations. It is a product of Venix Partners Limited.
Is VenixPin part of NIPOST?
No. NIPOST provides the official postcode infrastructure. VenixPin is a separate merchant software service using postcode functionality, subject to applicable NIPOST access terms.
What do merchants use VenixPin for?
Businesses can organise delivery jobs, assign riders, record outcomes, validate supported NIPOST postcodes, manage colleagues and export existing customer request records.
Why use VenixPin instead of NIPOST directly?
NIPOST provides the postcode system. VenixPin focuses on the merchant workflow around deliveries, team operations and associated postcode records. We do not issue official postcodes.
How do I start?
Create a business account, then wait for approval. After approval you can manage operational records from the business dashboard.
Can multiple employees use the same company account?
Yes. Business owners and administrators can invite colleagues by email. Staff receive individual access based on their assigned role.
Which team roles are available?
Owner, administrator, manager and viewer. Access controls restrict team changes and operational modifications.
Can I bulk-check digital postcodes?
Yes. Approved businesses can check supported postcodes in batches. The results depend on the configured NIPOST service.
How do I assign a rider?
Open Deliveries, create a delivery job and add rider details. You can then update its delivery status and record completion notes.
Does VenixPin automatically send a postcode request to my customer?
Not yet. Automated SMS requests remain disabled until the messaging service is connected, tested and able to confirm delivery.
Does VenixPin track riders in real time?
No. The current dashboard records assignments and status updates but does not include live rider GPS tracking.
Can customers confirm locations through unique shareable web links?
Approved merchants can generate single-use customer location links and share them manually through WhatsApp, email or another service. Customers confirm an address and postcode or optional GPS point with explicit consent. Links expire after seven days.
Does a postcode prove residence or identity?
No. A digital postcode identifies a location, not a particular resident, customer or property owner.
Does VenixPin provide or employ riders?
No. VenixPin provides software for merchants and their own delivery teams; it is not a courier fleet operator.
Can I pay for a subscription?
Not yet. Paystack, subscriptions and automated billing have not been launched. Any future pricing will be communicated before charging.
Can I download my business data?
Business users can export existing postcode-request records as CSV. Order reporting and exports will expand over time.
How do I get support?
Email hello@venixpartners.com. Do not include a password or one-time sign-in link.
