Who operates VenixPin?
VenixPin is operated by Venix Partners Limited in Nigeria. Contact hello@venixpartners.com. Merchants determine how they use their customers' delivery information. VenixPin processes the information needed to provide merchant delivery-management services.
Information we collect and process
- Merchant company details, work emails, staff identities, roles and account activity.
- Order references, recipient name and phone when provided, rider details, delivery statuses and notes.
- Customer-provided delivery address, postcode, optional GPS coordinates and instructions.
- Customer consent and confirmation timestamps, delivery activity history, postcode-check records.
- Existing information from personal-account services offered previously.
Customer location confirmation
A merchant can generate a secure, single-use confirmation link and share it with the intended customer. The customer enters a delivery address, may supply a postcode, and can optionally permit browser GPS access. Coordinates are not submitted through this form unless the customer selects them and agrees to share the location with the named merchant. A submitted postcode or location does not prove residence, ownership or identity.
Why information is processed
We use information to operate business accounts, support delivery coordination and postcode checks, keep activity records, limit abuse, handle enquiries and meet applicable legal duties. We do not sell delivery locations for advertising.
Who receives information?
Authorised employees of the requesting merchant can access the data required for delivery operations. Hosting and infrastructure providers process information to support VenixPin. When active NIPOST verification is configured, the submitted postcode may be checked through NIPOST. We may disclose data if legally required.
Security, retention and international processing
Access is restricted using account permissions and encrypted connections. Infrastructure may process data outside Nigeria, subject to applicable requirements. Confirmation links expire after seven days and can be used once. The underlying merchant order records do not currently have automated retention-based deletion, and additional deletion controls are planned. No security system eliminates all risks.
Choices and rights
Customers may decline to provide a location through the link and may provide a postcode rather than GPS coordinates. For access, correction or deletion requests, contact your merchant or hello@venixpartners.com. We may need to verify account ownership or your connection to the relevant delivery. You may contact the Nigeria Data Protection Commission about data protection concerns.
Changes
We will update this page as VenixPin functionality or data practices change.
